Construction Put in Place

The U.S. construction market continues to perform well having recorded positive growth for 72 consecutive months. Census Bureau non-seasonally adjusted (NSA), constant dollar CPIP data showed that July total construction expenditures grew by 4.1% year on year (y/y), to $1212.2 billion (B). The Dodge Momentum Index fell 4.6 points in July to 135.0 or -3.3% month on month, (m/m) from its revised June reading of 139.6.
